Tree Planting in Pucklechurch
Event Photography in Bristol
On a crisp December morning in 2025, I headed to Pucklechurch to capture the launch of the Western Forest UK tree planting project, and it was a real pleasure to photograph. Projects like this are exactly why I love working as a Bristol photographer—they bring together people, purpose, and positive change.
The tree planters were local volunteers who had given up their time to support a greener future. Despite the cold, the sun was out and the atmosphere was great. There was a strong sense of community, plenty of teamwork, and lots of natural smiles, which always makes for great images. From a Bristol photographer perspective, it was the ideal setting to capture authentic moments without anything feeling staged or forced.
The Western Forest UK project is an exciting initiative focused on long-term environmental impact, and it was brilliant seeing its first steps taking shape. Documenting meaningful events like this is an important part of what a Bristol photographer can offer—helping organisations share their story and highlight the people behind the work.
Overall, it was a rewarding morning spent photographing a project that matters - I’m looking forward to seeing how the Western Forest UK project grows in the years ahead.
